Potential winnings
Total with variable odds:
Potential winnings are calculated by multiplying the amount of your wager by the product of the odds associated with each of your predictions. To win your wager, all your predictions must be accurate.
For example:
Amount wagered: $5
| Game 1 | Total 4.5 | Wager: + | The final score is 3 to 2, for a total of 5 |
| Game 2 | Total 3.5 | Wager: - | The final score is 1 to 0, for a total of 1 |
| Game 3 | Total 2.5 | Wager: + | The final score is 3 to 2, for a total of 5 |
Game 1: odds associated with the chosen outcome = 2.05
Game 2: odds associated with the chosen outcome = 1.80
Game 3: odds associated with the chosen outcome = 1.65
Potential winnings: $5 x (2.05 x 1.80 x 1.65) = $30.45
Total with set odds:
Potential winnings are calculated according to the number of games on which you wagered. To win your wager, all your predictions must be accurate.
Number of games on which you wagered | Potential winnings |
| 3 | 5 times the wager |
| 4 | 8 times the wager |
| 5 | 15 times the wager |
| 6 | 25 times the wager |
For example:
Amount wagered: $5
| Game 1 | Total 4.5 | Wager: + | The final score is 3 to 2, for a total of 5 |
| Game 2 | Total 3.5 | Wager: - | The final score is 1 to 0, for a total of 1 |
| Game 3 | Total 2.5 | Wager: + | The final score is 3 to 2, for a total of 5 |
As the wager contains 3 games, the potential winnings are 5 times the wager. Therefore, the potential winnings are: $5 x 5 = $25.
Notes
-
When the total number of goals (points) scored during a game is equal to the total determined by Loto-Québec, e.g. total = 4.0, the game is considered "cancelled".
But watch out! Your ticket may still be a winner!
If your predictions about the other games in your selection are accurate, your winnings are calculated according to the number of remaining games.
-
In boxing, you must predict the outcome by indicating:
(-) If the winning round disclosed by the official announcement is equal or inferior to the round predetermined by Loto-Québec.
(+) If the winning round disclosed by the official announcement is superior to the round predetermined by Loto-Québec.
- Next, fill out a selection slip and bring it to a retailer to have your wager validated.
