Mise-o-jeu - Point Spread
At Mise-o-jeu point spread, you have to predict the outcome taking into account the point spread indicated on the program.
How to Play
- Choose 3 to 6 games in one of the numbered programs.
- For each game, make your prediction.
Example:
Montreal is favorite.
| VISITEUR | Point spread | RECEVEUR |
| Ottawa | 1.5 | Montreal |
If you bet on Montreal, your prediction is accurate if Montreal wins the match by more than 1.5 goal, which is two goals or more.
If you bet on Ottawa (underdog), your prediction is accurate if:
- Ottawa wins the match;
- Ottawa loses the match by less than 1.5, which is less than 2 goals;
- The match finishes in a tie. (For more detail concerning the final results, see
Mise-o-jeu rules.)
If the point spread indicated on the program is 0, your prediction is accurate if you wagered on the team who won the match. However, if the match finishes in a tie, your prediction on this match is null but you may have a winning ticket. (See the section How to calculate your potential winnings.)
What happens if there is a tie once the point spread has been applied?
Example:
Boston is favorite.
| VISITEUR | Point spread | RECEVEUR |
| Toronto | 1.0 | Boston |
(Result: Toronto 2 – Boston 3)
Your prediction on this match is null, but you may have a winning ticket.
How to calculate your potential winnings?
Potential winnings are calculated according to the number of matches on which you wagered:
Number of matches on which you wagered | Potential winnings |
| 3 | 5 times the wager |
| 4 | 8 times the wager |
| 5 | 15 times the wager |
| 6 | 25 times the wager |
If some of your predictions are null but all remaining predictions of your bet are exact, your prize is calculated according to the remaining number of matches. Two matches pay 2.5 times your wager and one match pays 1.5 times your wager.
